it is ironic that i do not really like to blog or write when i really want to be a copywriter in the future (i was hoping the easy path was just to … you know think of ideas and get someone witter to write the copy for you: NEWSFLASH – in your dreams)

so i will try my best to force myself to write (blog rather, sorry) regularly. this is for my own good.

random thoughts not arranged nicely:

the olympics have ended. till london 2012… another 4 year wait.

the singapore table tennis team needs a better PR person. who a lousy excuse like ‘his contract was due to end after the games’ and with the release of inconsistent information, it really puts a dampener on winning a medal this olympics.

its week 4 of school wooooooo…..~

man it sure is quiet in can a at 740 am.

i am growing fat.

i can’t believe that i am actually a year 2.

i haven’t died or anything; i just dropped off the blogging radar because i went tioman with my fellow meepokers, watched the dark knight and was taking part in an intense 8 day film making competition. i still am around, but have become lazy to blog surf and blog.

i must admit that the last one year has passed by faster then i thought. my fellow intern once told me that university life was the most fun she ever had and i understand why now. when you are having fun, time passes you by rather quickly. this is probably helped by the fact that university holidays are obscenely long.

i just realised that my last three paragraphs started with i. but i don’t make my life fun in university alone. its my school mates that make my university education worthwhile. at least for one, we all are doing something we feel is worthwhile.

so as i blog for the first time in weeks, i just want to say that i love wkwsci.

and of course, i also love eating junk, sleeping, electronic music, playing games…. etc etc.

but those are for another day.

i also love slacking. did i mention slacking?

ok i have to admit it.

i went to scour the net for blogs that went for the wkwscifoc 07. wanted to see what their reactions were to the great foc. and i bet i am not alone in doing so. erwin stated in the plug webbie that they did it too. and i expect voyeurs to come here and do the same. come on we are comm studies people, don’t expect less from kaypohs like us.

but it was so fresh. so new. so good to finally get ns out of my system. (not completely of course; i did take away some good memories of ns, contrary to what most people might have experienced) it was good.

so many twists and turns. so much fun. i forgot what it was like to be a student and this jolted me back again.

for hotel charlie and foxtrot november, the two key highlights of the camp, which was supremely well executed and even tricked the keenest of minds. the coordination work and planning must have been meticulous and if you are reading this, well done.

to mee pok, the best og in the foc. cheers. 5 days probably isn’t enough time to know all of you. and yes, the sad truth is depending on how they spilt us up again during school, i may never talk to any of you all again. but it was fun. enjoyed it immensely and i do sincerely hope i will talk to you guys more in school.

to my ogls (and one very fake freshie), thanks for being great and enthusiastic and bringing us into the family.

and so… let the excitement of school start. may every day be a party.

and yes, i would also like to state that have just returned from hong kong. and also i have spammed harry potter and the deathly hallows and finished it. but those are for another post.

for this post is dedicated to meepok and the chefs that made wkwscifoc possible.

ladies and gentlemen, i present to you the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information era. may my 4 years here be subtle, with a taste of cinnamon and pepper to match.

i wrote that post nearly one year ago, right after my own foc. now i have traversed 2/3′s of the circle, one being a freshie and another being an ogl. next year will be my final third, being a year 3 just hanging around.

penne is alike to mee pok in many ways, but it is still unique. it was a great experience for me to lead an OG of 30 unique individuals. tiring but great. we ran together, cheered together, sweat together.

at the very least, i can say that i made 30 new friends. not freshies. but friends.

another 3 years more to go.

sorry for infrequent posts. really tired these days cause of work…

the 48 hr film festival came and went. we made a hitman buddy film and guess what, we got selected for best of screening! maybe it isn’t such a big deal here in singapore, with 14 teams competing and 7 shown in the best of, but i guess winning an award is better. went for the screening to find out that we won use if best prop. kind of a let down but i guess winning something is better then nothing right. haha

ok i will try and update more freq. promise.
